Weird Genius, grup musik elektronik yang didirikan oleh Reza Oktovian, Eka Gustiwana, dan Gerald Liu, sukses memberikan penampilan yang energik di panggung festival EDM, Tomorrowland 2022 di Belgia. Yang unik dari penampilan mereka di panggung Rose Garden adalah penggunaan seragam SMA. Di atas panggung, kostum seragam SMA disulap menjadi kostum panggung para personil Weird Genius. Buktinya bisa dilihat pada postingan yang dibuat oleh akun Instagram Weird Genius. Dalam foto tersebut, Reza Arap terlihat mengenakan baju khas berwarna putih abu-abu yang dikenakan siswa SMA se-Indonesia.
Sementara itu, Gerard juga tak kalah dengan menggunakan simbol Osis di bagian dada kemeja seragam SMA-nya, yang dipasangkannya dengan celana pendek hitam. Mereka memberikan penampilan yang luar biasa di Tomorrowland 2022, memainkan lagu-lagu terbaik dan berhasil memukau penonton.
Reza Arap menggunakan akun Instagram pribadinya untuk memposting sederet foto yang mengabadikan momen tersebut dan memastikan momen tersebut tidak akan pernah terlupakan. Dalam rangkaian video pendek, ia terlihat berkolaborasi dengan Gerald Liu di belakang turntable sementara penonton yang bergoyang terlihat di latar belakang. Netizen pun berlomba-lomba dalam memuji band ini karena inovasinya dalam mengenakan seragam sekolah Indonesia dan penampilan mereka yang spektakuler. Banyak dari mereka yang tidak menyangka bahwa seragam SMA akan dibawa ke panggung global. Weird Genius is truly a genius!
Melalui akun Twitter pribadinya beberapa hari sebelum naik ke panggung yang disaksikan oleh penonton dari seluruh dunia ini, Reza Arap mengatakan bahwa kesempatan pentas di festival EDM Tomorrowland merupakan salah satu bucket list-nya dan sempat dia kemukakan satu tahun sebelumnya di tayangan salah satu podcast. “I made it. We made it” cuitnya, sambil tidak lupa turut menyebut akun Twitter Weird Genius.
