Perwakilan tim tari Indonesia yang terdiri dari Sanggar Tari Gandrung Jakarta dan Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) Rampoe dari Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) meraih sukses luar biasa di Asian Arts Festival ke-10.Â
Para penari berbakat ini berhasil meraih total 11 piala emas dan 7 piala perak yang mengharumkan nama bangsanya di kancah internasional.
Festival Seni Asia, yang didirikan pada tahun 2013, telah berkembang dengan melibatkan lebih dari 2.600 seniman muda dari 20 negara, melampaui benua Asia untuk menyertakan peserta dari Eropa dan Amerika.Â
Tahun ini, ajang bergengsi tersebut berlangsung di Auditorium School of the Arts (SOTA) di Singapura dari tanggal 11 hingga 15 Juli 2023.
Salah satu puncak festival adalah penampilan khusus Tim Rampoe UGM pada Festival Closing Gala, yang mewakili Kategori Best Folk Dances di 10th Asia Arts Festival.Â
Tim tari ini memukau penonton, termasuk hakim, pejabat pemerintah, perwakilan kedutaan, dan lembaga budaya dari Singapura.
Dipimpin oleh Rosmala Dewi, Sanggar Tari Gandrung memamerkan keserbagunaannya dengan 28 penari membawakan tarian tradisional dari Sunda, Bali, Jawa, Sumatera, dan Sulawesi dalam kategori grup dan solo.Â
Khususnya, di antara para penari berbakat adalah seorang anggota berusia enam tahun yang mendapatkan medali perak di kategori grup.
Rosmala Dewi, Kepala Sanggar Tari Gandrung, mengungkapkan kegembiraan dan kebanggaan yang mendalam atas prestasi penari mudanya di kompetisi internasional.Â
Menyaksikan kerja keras mereka diganjar piala emas berlipat ganda kebahagiaan mereka, sebutnya dalam keterangan yang dirilis Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan.

Penampilan luar biasa Tim Rampoe UGM menampilkan tari Ratoeh Pukat yang dengan cerdik memadukan tari Ratoeh Jaroe dan Tari Tarek Pukat.Â
Dimulai dengan gerakan gemulai Ratoeh Jaroe, mereka dengan mulus beralih ke tarian Tarek Pukat yang ritmis, menggunakan tali sebagai penyangga untuk melambangkan gerakan memancing selama pertunjukan mereka.
Ketua tim tari , Fatimah Khilwana, mengungkapkan kebanggaan yang luar biasa atas prestasi timnya, apalagi ini merupakan partisipasi perdana mereka dalam sebuah festival di Singapura.Â
Meskipun menghadapi tantangan, termasuk harus mengadaptasi gerakan dan formasi dalam kerangka waktu yang ketat, dedikasi dan kerja keras tim memuncak dalam penampilan menakjubkan yang membuat semua orang gembira dan emosional.
Atase Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan KBRI Singapura, IGAK Satrya Wibawa, mengapresiasi partisipasi dan kesuksesan delegasi Indonesia dalam festival tersebut.
 Ia memuji Sanggar Tari Gandrung dan UKM Rampoe UGM sebagai duta budaya yang menampilkan kekayaan keragaman Indonesia.Â
